Julia Fox recently sparked speculations after she posted a video showcasing a baby bump on her Instagram Stories, indicating that she may be pregnant. It turns out that this was nothing more than a misunderstanding.
The 34-year-old star uploaded the video on Tuesday, September 17. In a cropped white T-shirt and boxer shorts, she walks around and poses in front of a mirror, humorously captioning it, “Oops.“
Fans quickly jumped to conclusions about a probable pregnancy, with many celebrating and congratulating her. The news spread like wildfire, leading many to believe Julia Fox was actually announcing her pregnancy.
However, Julia Fox instantly clarified that the belly bump was just for a movie and that she was not pregnant. She posted another story shortly after the first one and explained, “Omg its for a movie! THE BELLY IS NOT REAL!!!“
The movie mentioned is most probably the upcoming romantic comedy titled Perfect, where Fox plays a rich pregnant woman who falls in love with a younger woman.

Born on February 2, 1990, in Milan, Italy, Julia Fox married Peter Artemiev, a private pilot in Brooklyn, from 2018 to 2020, with whom she had a son, Valentino.
After the couple’s separation in July 2020, Fox revealed that Artemiev was an absent father and abandoned her and their newborn son during a rough time. Since the split, Fox has been raising her son by herself.
In 2022, Fox shared that her son had grown up in a peaceful home with no exposure to the conflicts and difficulties present in her relationship with her ex-husband.
Julia has always been vocal about her personal life and spoke to Variety magazine about her wish to not hide her son from the spotlight but instead let him experience it.
Expanding on her wish, Fox explained, “We need him to be a nepo baby, and he needs to own it too. He can’t be like, ‘I’m not really a nepo baby’, he needs to be like ,’Yes, I’m a nepo baby, so what?’‘
Furthermore, she even brings her son to fashion shows, as she did during the Velez Fashion Show in September 2022.
Although Fox takes care of her son most of the time, she does mention that she has found a boyfriend, who she describes as “the man in Valentino’s life.“ She also added that her boyfriend is the best role model she could have chosen for her son.
Julia Fox has been highly dedicated to her role as a mother and has even expressed her wish to expand her family, wanting Valentino to have siblings. Nonetheless, she has not publicly mentioned any current plans for more children.
