American real estate investor Christina Hall is in hot water right now regarding divorce news with her husband, Josh Hall. Prior to the ongoing gossip about her divorce, Christina Hall seemed to have been more busy redecorating her parents’ traditional home.
Paul and Laurie Haack, the parents of Christina Hall, made their first public appearance in the first look video of Christina on the Coast season 5, where they were Christina’s first clients for the season.
In 2023, Christina shared on social media that her parents, Paul and Laurie, were stuck in the Maui wildfire but had safely relocated to Kihei without mentioning their names. Her parents have been living in southern California since 1985.
Christina Hall stated that it was hard working with her parents as her clients!
Flip or Flop star Christina Hall, 41, was born on July 9, 1983, in Anaheim, California, to her parents and little sister, Carly Hall. She started her real estate career after graduating from San Diego State University.
Furthermore, Christina Hall currently runs a show that focuses on renovating homes, Christina on the Coast, which is in its fifth season. The first episode of the latest season saw Christina renovating her childhood home, where her parents live.
At the beginning of the renovation process, we see Christina explaining the possible changes they can make within the house, to which her parents are not completely on terms with her.
When she suggested her father open up a wall in the kitchen area, Paul replied, “I lose a part of my backyard.” When Christina tried to point out that the construction would only affect the hedges of the kitchen window, Paul said, “But I have hedges and things. And it’s going to look pretty bleak, I think.”
Similarly, Christina’s mother, Laurie, added, “And we’d have to replace the floor,” to which Paul agreed.
Listening to all this, Christina, while expressing a little dissatisfaction, said, “Having done hundreds of houses, it is hard for me to hear that I don’t get to take down the walls. Obviously I’m going to do whatever you guys want to do, you guys are the client.”
In spite of the rocky initial phase, Christina and her parents were able to come to an agreement to make changes to the kitchen, dining room, bar, and laundry room for an estimated $75,000.
In an interview with Parade magazine, Christina would go on to say that her parents were a ‘tough client.’
Regardless of the overall process, Christina’s parents are thankful for her help in renovating the entire home.
