Sopranos actress Drea de Matteo has recently become a hot topic after her controversial revelation about son Waylon ‘Blackjack’ Jennings editing her photos for the OF platform.
On July 11, 2024, talking to hosts Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Robert Iler in a podcast episode of Not Today, Pal, mother of two, Drea de Matteo, discussed how the platform rescued her and her family from financial challenges.
That’s when she went on to drop the controversial bomb, which is now backfiring. Many online are criticizing and questioning her parenting approach, as they do not deem it good for her son to be exposed to such material at a young age.
One user wrote, “Shouldn’t parents protect their children from adult content? Isn’t it crucial to maintain boundaries to safeguard their innocence?” Meanwhile, another sarcastically added, “What a wonderful role model.”
Last September, Drea de Matteo officially joined the adult platform after getting the green light from her children!
The Primetime Emmy Award winner Drea de Matteo took to Instagram and announced that she was joining the explicit adult content site in September 2023.
Given her financial downfall after the entertainment industry labeled her as a savage, the actress claimed she did so to save her family.
According to Fox News Digital, she said, “I went from being allowed to work to never being allowed to work again. I was never the kind of actor that took jobs just to stay in the business. I literally took jobs to feed my family.”
At the time, Drea de Matteo said that her two children, daughter Alabama Gypsy Rose Jennings and son Waylon ‘Blackjack’ Jennings, were completely on board with her decision.
But now that she publicly explained her minor son’s involvement in editing her OF photographs, the criticism seems more intense than ever.
At first, Drea de Matteo apologized to her children, who were waiting outside the door, while discussing the podcast’s girl-on-girl content.
However, Iler, one of the hosts, bluntly revealed that her son, Waylon Blackjack, told him that he edits her OF photos prior to the show. To which Drea de Matteo admitted it was true and said, “He’s like, ‘So what do you want me to do with the bikini line here?”
She further added she asks for her children’s consent before putting out the shots of her making love with other women.
Born in April 2011, Waylon Albert ‘Blackjack’ Jennings is just 13 years old, so basically, he is a minor.
Many argued that while she is supposed to protect her minor son from such exposure at a young age, she is actually the reason for it and thought of it disgusting.
