Filipino singer and actress Karylle Padilla Yuzon recently spoke on the Good Times podcast about the ongoing pregnancy rumors that she is not pregnant and revealed her theories about the spread of such fake news.
On August 7, 2024, after the host asked about her pregnancy on the morning show on Magic 89.9 radio, Karylle declared the news fake and said that the people spreading the news might be trying to collect data on how easy it is to fool people.
She said, “When you see a trend of how they do fake news, good or bad, know that people who are operators are probably trying to get data on how easy it is to make people fall for good news.“
She also revealed on the podcast that she opened up about the pregnancy news on Instagram after it annoyed her to a certain extent but later deleted it because she didn’t want to provide gossip.
Karylle revealed that she gained weight due to stress eating, leading to rumors of her being pregnant!
It’s Showtime host Karylle is not new to fake news about her pregnancy, as people have been circulating rumors about it since her marriage to Sponge Cola vocalist Yael Yuzon in 2014.
However, the recent gossip surfaced after people noticed Karylle had gained a little weight. Fans started congratulating her and shared their joy on social media.
Nevertheless, Karylle disclosed that she was not pregnant and gained weight from stress eating. She said, “Well, so I guess I’m not pregnant. I did gain weight from the play because I was eating chips every day. I guess I stress eat.“

Furthermore, Karylle mentioned that she was shocked to see people think she was pregnant and made a conscious decision to lose some weight after getting such remarks from people.
