Love Island star Leak Kateb, 25, was born on August 11, 1999, to her Persian descent parents Afshin and Mina Kateb.
They are both Iranian immigrants who came to Los Angeles, California, and got married on June 5, 1994. The Kateb couple has two daughters: Leah and her younger sister Daria Kateb.
Like the daughter, Leah Kateb’s father, Afshin Kateb, born on October 7, 1964, is also a bigshot name in the finance and hospitality field.
According to their LinkedIn profile, her father has over 30 years of working experience, starting as a Chief Accountant at ITT Sheraton Hotels in January 1987.
Since then, he has worked in various companies, such as Maruko Inc., EY, Destination Hotels & Resorts, and The Kor Group.
Eventually, in 2006, Afshin, 60, became a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Lowe Enterprises. He has been a Chief Financial Officer at Palladius Capital Management since October 2022.
Meanwhile, her mother, Mina Kateb, born on March 24, 1963, has reportedly been a Senior Consultant at Regulatory Solutions since January 2015. However, not much professional information about Leah Kateb’s mother is available.
Nonetheless, her Instagram posts clearly show that she is a social butterfly who loves to upload pictures of her special moments with her family to her social wall.
But more often, she features her husband doing silly poses and romantic moments with her. Interestingly, the one thing that is common between those posts is her captions, as she often refers to her hubby as “My one and only.”
