The parents of Viking Valhalla actor, Leo Suter, actively supported him in his life and career, even though they found film sets chaotic due to their business background.

Leo Suter was born and raised in London in 1990 into a distinguished English family. His late mother was Dame Helen Alexander, but he has not disclosed his father’s name and has remained private about his family.

His mother had an impressive career as the chief executive of the Economist magazine and received honors such as a DBE and a chevalier of the Légion d’Honneur.

Meanwhile, his father has a diverse background. He began his career as a drama teacher at Eton and later transitioned into becoming an executive with the Broadband Stakeholder Group.

Leo Suter’s parents have been his support system and encouragers throughout his acting career journey!

Rising actor Leo Suter found his passion for acting at the age of 11 and acted throughout his school and university years. His parents, especially his father, always encouraged Leo’s pursuits in the arts.

Moreover, his parents attended all his school and university plays. His mother even traveled to Poland to visit him on the chaotic film set of I’ll Find You.

Sadly, his mother passed away before the film was released. However, Leo was grateful to share his performances with her through footage. Her support and influence continue to resonate deeply in Leo’s life and career.

Leo said, “She was an incredible person, but to me, she was Mum. After she passed away, seeing the support from the worlds of business and politics made me realize how much she had accomplished in her life.

Furthermore, Leo Suter is also passionate about singing. His father played a significant role in his early musical development. Leo sang in his father’s choir and participated in musicals at St. Paul Preparatory School.

Moreover, Leo humorously shared an incident where, after filming the first season, his father gifted him a book called Varangian to prepare for his role as Harald in Vikings: Valhalla.

But to their surprise, it turned out to be a naughty novel about Harald getting into mischief in Constantinople. His father had judged the book by its cover, which featured a Viking on the front.

Overall, this highlights the support his father continues to provide in his acting career after his mother’s passing. Despite their different paths, they have always supported each other.
