Low Tide in Twilight Manhwa published its final chapter, chapter 101, a satisfactory end to the series initially published by Bomtoon, Kidari Studio. The series was written and illustrated by Euja and later received an English translation by Lezhin US.

The story follows omega Kim Euihyun, who flees into the twilight with his baby brother after a violent duel with a debt collector. He gives up all hope in life as he struggles to survive in the shadows away from the police and the yakuza.

Unfortunately, a yakuza’s son, Yeo Taeju, an alpha, captures Euihyun to ensure he repays the debts without attempting to escape again. Taeju sets him up with an apartment, money for necessities, and a job to escape the mess.

However, Euihyun doesn’t trust Taeju and his shallow promises, but he doesn’t have a better option. As the story progresses, the alpha becomes attracted to Euihyun’s scent, and the omega has to comply with his sexual needs.

As tension between the characters persists, Taeju tests Euihyun, causing him discomfort. The story blends tension, action, comedy, and romance to show how they grow to love one another.

Before Low Tide in Twilight 101, the childhood traumas of Taeju and Euihyun are explored while remaining true to the characters’ alpha-omega dynamic. Euihyun reveals that he is in debt because of his father and ultimately hesitates to raise a child.

Similarly, throughout the story, Euihyun battles his mental health as his partner constantly tries to improve things. Still, nothing seems to work until the final moments of the series.

Euihyun confesses his feelings, giving way to family life in Low Tide in Twilight chapter 101!

Prior to chapter 101, Euihyun and Taeju spend the night together as the omega craves his connection. However, there seems to be a looming tension between the characters as Taeju still heals from his wounds.

Likewise, Euihyun wants to go to the sea, where he had previously attempted to drown and take his own life. For the same reason, the alpha is hesitant throughout the drive.

After bickering in the car, they finally reach the location, and Taeju reveals that he has left the yakuza to begin a new chapter in his life. Taeju claims that he decided because it was hurting Euihyun, who had been weaker by the day.

Even after such words, Euihyun looks tensed, and Taeju suddenly asks if he is okay. The omega finally opens up and claims he would’ve stayed by the alpha’s side even if he wasn’t pregnant with his child.

Following the emotional moment, Euihyun says, “When I look at myself through your eyes, I seem so precious and cherished. I’m okay because you love me more than I love myself.” With teary eyes, the pair embrace each other in the final panel.

In chapter 101, the writer thanks the readers for following the series for over three years. She also expresses her anxiety, as fans had high expectations for the finale, which put much pressure on the writer and her team.

The couple share a heartfelt moment in the final panels of Low Tide in Twilight!

After the creator’s note, the story moves to Euihyun’s brother. Kim Euiyoung sheds a tear as he looks at the new family member. They claim that the baby is calm despite the difficulties during pregnancy.

On the other hand, Teju worries about the room temperature and the baby’s health as it is his first time as a father. While the couple talks, the baby plays with Euiyoung, giving an adorable smile.

With the image of the baby, Low Tide in Twilight ends with a small message that reads, “See you next year!“. The chapter also includes a note from the translators as they enjoyed their work of delivering happiness to readers.

The writer surprised the readers by revealing that side stories, merchandise, and paperback versions have yet to be released. They omitted episodes from the main story to focus on Taeju and Euihyun’s emotional side.

So, the answers to questions such as the relationship between Yeongdo and Sahyeok will be explored more. The writer also plans to incorporate the reason for Taeju’s disappearance into the story.

Moreover, the writer stated that she wants to take a break as three years of serialization and publication work have worn her out. They wanted fans to continue their support through platforms like Twitter and Lezhin.
