After the Egghead Incident, the Thousand Sunny, with most of the Strawhats, was on the way to Elbaf, but a shocking turn of events put them in a dangerous situation in One Piece 1126 spoilers and leaks.
In the previous chapter, Figarland Garling joined forces with the Five Elders and World Government after Imu showcased their ultimate power, sucking away the life force from Saturn and immediately replacing him.
Likewise, the revolutionary army moves while discussing the ultimate possession of One Piece. Dragon claims that the bearer will hold the supreme power in the universe and rule the world as the person above the government and law.
With such anticipation, readers wanted the immediate start of Elbaf’s arc, but things haven’t been going as they hoped for. Previously, Luffy and most of the Strawhats were on the Giant’s ship as they celebrated their departure from Egghead.

However, spoilers for One Piece 1126 circulated, highlighting a different direction for the story: the battle between the Red Head Pirates, led by Shanks, and the Bartolemelo crew.
The chapter “Payback” also includes a cover story featuring Yamato, who continues their journey across Wano. Soon, they discover that the soba shop girls have disappeared from the region, in addition to Minamoto’s absence in the previous installment.
Coming to the main story in chapter 1126, Shanks prepares his team to launch a full-fledged attack on Bartolomeo’s pirates. Moreover, their rivalry begins when Bartolomeo burns down Shank’s Jolly Roger because he wants to raise Luffy’s flag instead.
Even though Bartolomeo conducted the act out of respect for Luffy, it was a sensitive subject for the Red Head Pirates, who held supreme popularity. This pushed Shanks to plan against Bartolemelo, as the burning of the flag also implied the declaration of war.

Shanks burned Bartolomeo’s ship in One Piece chapter 1126 to prove his status as a Yonko!
Shanks initially took the incident as a joke; other crew members and newcomers considered it an insult. Bartolomeo repeated the actions multiple times, so Yasopp sent his ship to flames as soon as the opportunity came forward.
After their defeat, Bartolomeo has to accept orders from Shanks, and to the pirate’s surprise, the Yonko gives him a bottle of poison intended to kill Luffy within a month.
Initially, the move confused many as Shanks is closely connected with the Strawhat captain, and they share similar admiration for one another. Moreover, Shanks saves Luffy on several occasions and is responsible for Luffy’s dream of becoming a Pirate King.

As an admirer, Bartolomeo drinks the poison himself, which, in the end, turns out to be a loyalty test from the Red Head Pirate.
However, Shanks’s actions align with popular fan theory, claiming he will be the ultimate villain. Oda has played rightfully into the concept to tease fans, giving them more room for speculation.
Now, the spoiler moves to Teach, who returns to Hachinsou, where he is furious at Pizarro for letting Koby go off quickly. Koby inflicted damage on the pirate and escaped but left Vice Admiral Garp, who was one of their other target in Egghead.
With such a brief look into Garp’s situation, the leaks change perspective and shift the story two days after the egghead incident, where the Thousand Sunny vanishes from the Giant ship’s side during their journey to Elbaf.
The shop holds Luffy, Sanji, Nami, Zoro, Chopper, and Usopp while the remaining members are still in the Giant ship, pondering where the pirates could’ve drifted off. At the end of the chapter, Nami wakes up in a strange room, which indicates the danger that looms over the Strawhats.
