American actress Quinn Hemphill married her long-time boyfriend, Jake MacDonald, on June 1, 2024, marking an important moment in her life. While her marriage news is a popular topic, the age of Quinn Hemphill has remained a mystery till now.
Despite there being no information available regarding the current age of Hemphill, many believe that she is somewhere between her mid-to-late 20s because she once shared in an interview that she graduated from Syracuse University after three years of study, earning her BFA in Acting at the age of 21.
Now, amidst mystery surrounding her age, Quinn Hemphill played Callie Howard, the 16-year-old granddaughter of Captain Howard (Joe Pantoliano), in Bad Boys: Ride or Die.
Talking about her role in the movie, she said, “It’s cool because I got to watch the third movie, and my character is kind of ‘in it’ but we actually meet her in the fourth movie.”
Quinn Hemphill began pursuing her acting dream at the age of 8!
Born to parents Matt and Liz Hemphill, Quinn Hemphill was raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where she graduated from Scranton High School as a student of the ‘Class of 2016.’
Hemphill recalled that her passion for acting began when she saw a play named Wicked on Broadway at the age of 8, making her request that her parents sign her up for local acting classes.
Furthermore, she also added that Vanessa Hudgens’ performance in the High School Musical franchise inspired her to pursue theater.
Even before starting high school, Hemphill had started honing her acting skills by participating in numerous theater plays like The Wizard of Oz, Into the Woods, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Our Town.
After graduating from high school, she landed her first acting gig in 2018 in a short movie, Refer to Map, in which she played a young girl named Alice.
She also appeared in movies and shows such as Paper Spiders, Killer Competition, The Mental State, and Designing Empires.
On April 5, 2023, Hemphill was cast for the role of Callie Howard in the fourth installment of the Bad Boy franchise, Bad Boy: Ride or Die, marking her first appearance on the big screen.
When asked about her experience working on the movie, she answered, “I felt like I learned so much about film acting in particular, and so that felt like a big break and that, as an actor leveled up my ability to perform.”
Moreover, she will appear in another upcoming comedy movie, Goth Slayer, although the movie’s release date is still unknown.
Regardless of her age, one thing is for sure: Quinn Hemphill is talented, and the passion she developed as a child has brought her a long way into the acting business.
