Tigerlily Taylor from 90 Days Fiance, who is currently in a relationship with Adnan Abdelfattah, shared her traumatic experience in her first marriage as her ex-husband was very controlling.
Tigerlily Taylor first met her ex-husband in around 2013 when she was 30; however, there are no details about his identity and whereabouts.
While talking about her past relationships on the show 90 Days Fiance, Tigerlily Taylor emotionally shares how tragic her life was during her marital life with her ex-husband.
According to Taylor, her life as her ex-husband’s wife was luxurious as she used to live in a fancy house and could buy expensive clothes, shoes, and handbags; however, she was not happy.
Further, she also mentioned her husband being controlling, as he had cameras all over the house, making her feel trapped in a ‘golden bird cage.’
Despite having an unhealthy relationship, Tigerlily Taylor continued her relationship with her ex-husband due to their children!
During her conversation on 90 Days Fiance, Tigerlily Taylor further revealed that she got pregnant accidentally while in a relationship with her ex-husband before marrying.
After the pregnancy, Tigerlily Taylor saw no better option than marrying her boyfriend. The first few years of their marriage went well, and they also gave birth to their second child.
Even though her ex-husband was controlling nature from the start, she thought it might be part of his love; however, when it started getting out of hand, it became too hard for her to endure.
She described those times, saying she felt like she was in prison as the house cameras always kept a close watch on her; she said, “I felt like I was constantly under surveillance.“
Further, even though Tigerlily Taylor felt like she was trapped in her marriage, she decided to continue her relationship with him for the sake of her two young children.
However, after things got out of hand, no member of their family, neither her husband, children, nor she herself felt happy about their life, and they decided to end their relationship.
Going through a divorce with two young children was not easy for Taylor, as she said it was a ‘horrible process’ that took four years to end.
However, despite the hectic years, she finally regained her independence and control over her life.
Now, she is living a happy life with two children after marrying the love of Adnan Abdelfattah in September 2023.
