Tucker Des Laurier, who recently got into a showmance with Rubina Bernabe in the current season of Big Brother, recently got sensitive talking with T’Kor Clottey, another participant on the show, about how he may never get to see his dog, Ziggi, again, who is with his ex-girlfriend.
While never mentioning his ex-girlfriend’s name, Tucker said, “It was hard to leave. My buddy, who I’m very nervous about, not being able to see him anymore.“
“Because my ex will be very jealous. I’m just hoping that’s not the case. I don’t want to go down that road. Every night I’m sad about him, I hope he’s not thinking the same thing,” he further added.
While some viewers supported Tucker, saying that fate would pay his ‘kindness’ back, others believed that he was just showing an act to gain sympathy.
Whatever his motives were, they wouldn’t matter now, as he is already out of the show after scoring two more votes than Angela Murray for elimination.
Many are waiting to see if Tucker will have his long-awaited reunion with his pet dog and ex-girlfriend now that he is out of Big Brother.

Tucker entered Big Brother as an aggressive and competitive player, as he had intense rivalries with other participants like Brooklyn Rivera and Chelsea Baham.
Although there were many rivals, he would also get an ally in the form of Rubina. As their friendship continued to flourish, they fell for each other and eventually were caught making love by the night vision cameras during the final week of August.

An X user with the handle @SwaroopX commented, “I can’t move my eyes while watching this,” meanwhile, another user named @Kalyn wrote, “I thought this was a family show.“
While the act itself was surprising, some predicted that something similar would have happened sooner or later as the couple was pretty popular and even had a ship name, i.e., Tubina.
The lovely duo announced their relationship in August 2024, with Tucker stating, “I didn’t expect to find this kind of connection in the house.” To which Rubina replied, “It’s been great to have someone I can trust and rely on in such a competitive environment.“
As of now, Rubina is waiting to reunite with Tucker at his apartment in New York after the show is over. While Tucker didn’t win the show, he still got a check for $20,000 and a guaranteed callback, which is no less than a win.
