American musician David Grohl came clean about his cheating and claimed that he was a father of a new baby daughter outside of his marriage. While everyone searched far and wide for the baby mama, Instagram user Valerie Greyston came forward with her personal story, which ultimately turned out to be a lie.
The 55-year-old singer mentioned that he plans to be his newborn’s loving and supportive parent but didn’t reveal the mother’s identity as he had received severe public backlash.
However, a few days after Grohl’s announcement, Instagram user Valerie Greyston posted a picture of a baby named Roxie Junie Grohl and thanked the singer for giving her the perfect gift for her 20th birthday.
The caption detailed her journey through pregnancy as she stated that Grohl was by her side during the challenging period. Moreover, Greyston promised to love the baby with all her heart while maintaining her baby’s privacy.

Likewise, the user wrote, “I’m new to this whole baby mama thing but I’m happy that everyone knows about you, though, because you are such a special part of my life.” Greystone stated that the baby resembled the singer in several ways, including her eyes, nose, and smile.
However, as fans delved into the matter, they didn’t find other posts on the account, which initially raised suspicion. As they began questioning Greyston, she deleted the picture and prepared to shut her account.
Finally, Valarie Greyston admitted that she had created a fake page to gain followers amidst Grohl’s ongoing controversy. Through her Instagram story, Greyston claimed, “This page was fake. I’m only 16! I don’t even listen to Foo Fighter! Please don’t sue me! Sincere apologies.“
Despite the false claims from Valerie Greyston, the singer has remained mum about the matter!
Soon after Greyston posted on her account, users on Twitter quickly directed hate comments on Grohl as the baby mama mentioned that she was in her 20s.
Such statements made many question the singer’s morality. The singer has been married to Jordyn Blum since 2003, and they have three daughters: Violet Maye, Harper Willow, and Ophelia Saint.
In an interview with TODAY, the singer revealed that his children were his ultimate source of inspiration, saying, “My kids inspire me and it’s that love, that then when I go on the road, it makes me want to play music even more.“

Similarly, many considered him a perfect father and husband as he often dedicated his songs to his family and invited them on stage for performances. However, everything changed after he posted about his secret baby and lost the trust of his wife and children.
One of the Twitter users expressed their opinion towards the situation: “Far too many people are trying to give him a pass for this saying he’s ‘only human.’ Guaranteed if it was the other way round and his wife cheated, many of those same people would be calling for her head.“
According to sources close to the Grohl family, the singer contacted a divorce lawyer before publicly announcing the situation with his secret love child, which heightened rumors about a potential split.
