Claudia Doumit’s character, Victoria Neuman, is still one of the core elements of The Boys Season 4, and her interactions with several characters throughout the show, including the latest season, have ignited discussion among many regarding whether she is good or evil.
I think it is reasonable enough to say that she seems to fall into the evil category as of now. Compared to other characters like Homelander and Stormfront, she may not seem to be that villainous of a character.
That said, Victoria Neuman still has done some atrocious acts to achieve her goals in the past, so we can’t turn a blind eye to it.
Neuman made her first appearance in the show’s second season, appearing as a devoted and straightforward congresswoman trying to reveal Vought Enterprises’ crimes. It is later revealed that she is actually a ruthless spy working for Vought.

Victoria Neuman’s intention remains unclear throughout the show, making many think she is evil!
Victoria Neuman’s changing sides many times in the show has created a big discourse among the fans of The Boys on whether she is a good character or an evil one. The lack of information regarding her true intention has made her a mysterious character.
While some think she is a cool, badass character, most agree that her being badass doesn’t change the fact that she is a brutal person who goes to any lengths for her cause.
A Reddit user named u/Salami_Tsunami said, “Homelander is a threat. Neuman is smarter, and ultimately more dangerous.”
Some fans have stated that she took out numerous corrupt politicians, making her a good person trying to do good for the world. However, others have presented that she has done the same to innocent people without reason.
Referencing the brutal massacre in the courtroom in The Boys Season 2, another Reddit user named u/Shopworn_Soul wrote, “She k*lled sixteen people in the courtroom alone, almost all of whom were completely random, as far as we have any way of knowing.”

Regarding her true goals, a Reddit user has speculated, writing, “Vought seems to want supers in the army. Maybe Neuman’s plan is to become President, make this official, and have supers in the government loyal to Vought.
In spite of what everyone says, it still doesn’t change the fact that Victoria Neuman has done horrific stuff to innocent people just to achieve her goals, making her one of the many evil characters in the show.
Claudia Doumit has done an excellent job portraying the role of Neuman, as she is able to grab the attention of many viewers when she is on the screen.
