Although many fans saw it coming, Bachelorette Jenn Tran and Devin Strader did not end up happily ever after. In the dramatic finale episode of The Bachelorette season 21, Jenn Tran revealed Devin broke up with her over the phone and even started following Maria Georgas on Instagram the next day.
The broken couple came face to face and had a heated moment where Jenn did not hold back and confronted Devin right off the bat.
She claimed that Devin said he regretted the proposal and said, “He basically said he didn’t love me anymore and didn’t feel the same way.“

In addition, Jenn pointed out Devin’s outrageous behavior after the breakup. She confronted Devin, questioning why he followed other girls, including Maria Georgas, the morning after their break up and partied with Jeremy Simons instead of mourning their breakup.
Following the confrontation, Devin laughed awkwardly, explained he had doubts after the show, and said, “I told you too late, unfortunately.“

Before Jenn Tran, Maria Georgas was all set to become the next Bachelorette, but she later declined.
In Call Her Daddy podcast, she said, “I’m like, why am I not happy? Why am I not excited about this? It took me realizing that it’s just not my time where I was like, respectfully, I need to decline. I need to take a step back.“
It appears, including fans, some of the suitors who signed up for The Bachelorette thought Maria Georgas was still on board, not Jenn Tran, till the last minute.
Backing this fan speculation, Sam McKinney even told the show that he was expecting either Daisy Kent or Maria Georgas to be the Bachelorette. At the time, this caused him serious backlash and made him one of the biggest villains in Bachelorette history.

Now that Devin also followed Maria right after their break up, fans are blaming producers for pulling a switcheroo and doing all this to Jenn.

Meanwhile, another wrote, “Having your first Asian bachelorette and the whole cast was just wanting or expecting a white girl is NASTY.“
After all this on-screen drama, Maria Georgas has unfollowed Jenn on Instagram, while Devin Strader does not have Maria in his following list.
Regardless, there were reports of Jeremy Simons hitting off with Maria Georgas after Jenn Tran dumped him at her recent birthday bash.
