However, Lily is snapped out of her thoughts when the nuns in the palace call her out. The Witch has been walking in the wrong direction the entire time. They criticize Lily for making such a mistake despite living in the palace for over nine years.
At that moment, an unnamed character enters the scene and warns the nun about the witch’s powers. They reveal that Lily cannot use witchcraft without the King’s permission, but anyone who has approached the Witch previously has turned up dead.
