The Boruto: Two Blue Vortex reveals what happened to Boruto after an elaborate fight with the Shinju, who managed to harvest another Thorn Soul Bulb. Moreover, chapter 14 spoilers explored the events after the Hidden Leaf Village captured Boruto after his first meeting with Kashin Koji.
The story previously revealed that the Jiraiya clone Kashin Koji had finally unlocked his Shinjutsu ability following a life-threatening encounter with the enemy. The ultimate jutsu helped him see the future; he called it the Ten Directions.
However, such an ability was a burden to Koji as he peeked into the potential realities involving Boruto and his brother Kawaki. The clone mentioned that Boruto’s life would end during his fight with the Ten-Tails incarnation, Jura.

Moreover, their world is bound to end after Kawaki gets preyed on and finished by the enemies. But Boruto claims he doesn’t plan to end his brother to stop the divine tree plan, as the ninja plans to restore the Uzumaki family.
Meanwhile, Koji claims he can save Uchiha Sasuke from turning into a tree but keeps the solution to himself. The clone plans to reveal the technique at the right moment because more severe matters are on hand.
After the brief flashback to his plan to take down the Ten-Tails and Code, Boruto wakes up in handcuffs on the order of Kawaki and Konohamaru, creating a tense situation for chapter 14 spoilers.
Boruto’s interrogation begins in chapter 14, as the Hidden Leaf council tries to find answers to the recent attacks!
In the chapter titled Duty, Konohamaru and Shikamaru place Boruto in front of the elders and inquire about the Shinjus, who have been attacking the village, with their primary targets being Sarada and Himawari.
Before the chapter 14 spoilers move to Boruto, the panels shift to the medical department, where Sakura and Himawari heal Inojin, who had been injured on the battlefield. The scene showcases the development of Himawari’s powers as she quickly heals the injured.
Likewise, using Eida’s powers, Daemon and Kawaki witnessed the Boruto’s meeting, and Daemon raised an important question. She claims that Kawaki will be in deep trouble if Boruto decides to spill the beans and come clean about their position swap.

However, Kawaki mentions that it wouldn’t change anything as Boruto’s action ultimately led to the disappearance of the Seventh Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. The trio couldn’t predict Boruto’s nature as they planned for Momoshiki to take control of his body.
On the other hand, Boruto reveals to the elders that Shinju has grown self-aware and that they are no longer mere pawns. The enemy has begun to reflect the chakra of those devoured by the Ten-Teails and turned into trees.
Recently, Boruto fought a figure who looked precisely like Sasuke, but their next target was to absorb Konohamaru as Masuri was trying to capture him. After such revelation, the scene shifts to Amado as he sums up the situation with the Shinjus.
Chapter 14 concludes that the Shinjus, in their intelligent form, have started being curious and are looking for information from the ninjas, including Konohamaru and Sarada. Moreover, Jura was the binding force of the enemies, with powers beyond their imagination.

During the interrogation, Shikamaru communicates telepathically with Boruto and plans an immediate escape, as the ninja has revealed more than he intended.

At that moment, Shikamaru steps into the room and claims that Boruto won’t break from pain but could break his silence if Mitsuki poisons him. Mitsuki is loyal to Kawaki and considers Boruto his mortal enemy, intending to end him on sight.
Before Mitsuki could enter the room, Shikamaru advised him to control his emotions and focus on the mission while secretly handing him the passcode for Boruto’s handcuffs. The moment Mitsuki entered, Boruto teased him to create a stir.
Such an act allowed Mitsuki to attack the ninja in Sage Mode, which was all part of Boruto’s escape plan as Mitsuki informed him about the location of his personal belongings.
Finally, Boruto escapes the capture in chapter 14 spoilers using the Flying Rajin jutsu without raising suspicion on Shikamaru or Mitsuki to maintain his status as a rebel in front of the Hidden Leaf villagers.
Meanwhile, Shinki becomes the latest member of the Shinju, and Jura gives him a new name: Ryu.
