After grueling hard work to bring the ball to the opponent’s side of the goalpost in the previous chapter, Rin finally scored a spectacular goal with his calculated strategy in chapter 275 of Blue Lock.
In the last chapter of the manga, during the ongoing match between Paris X Gen and Bastard Munchen, we see Rin and Isagi face-to-face. The latter is totally surprised by the other’s playing style after he restarts an attack to score a much more fulfilling goal.
However, Isagi regains his composure after Rin declares him unworthy of being his rival, saying he “lacked” resolve.

After berating and passing by his opponent, Rin passes the ball to Charles, commanding him to make his ‘nastiest’ pass. Reciprocating the orders, Charles would pass the ball with his perfect execution of “Rabona Cross.”
At the end of the chapter, just when readers thought the pass was perfect for Rin, Shidou comes in running, trying to seize the ball for himself alone, with Charles at the back telling the two strikers to best each other for the goal.
Rin seems to have overcome his trauma in chapter 275 of Blue Lock spoilers!
Titled ‘Crashoot’, the chapter opens with the same scenario that ended the previous one, with both Rin and Shidou running straight toward the ball in the air, looking for a chance to shoot it.
Since the defender of Bastard Munchen, Kunigami, was held back by Paris X Gen’s Zantetsu, the strikers were free for a shoot.
As Rin realized that waiting for the ball to reach his desired position would be meaningless, he changed his direction with a ‘Diagonal Run’ while also calculating that he would shoot the ball toward the left side of the goalpost through a bounce shot.

Right when Rin is about to execute the plan, a dark silhouette of his elder brother, Sae, which seems to be a hallucination, appears in front of him calling his strategy “Lukewarm.“
The silhouette calls Rin a “trashy little brother” and tells him to “get lost,” which makes him unable to focus on the game. Furthermore, he admits that his hatred towards his brother doesn’t allow him to think of any idea that can overcome the latter.
As Rin starts hoping for someone to bring back his “impulse,“ Isagi appears in front of him, removing the silhouette. This instantly refills Rin with a burst of energy, which even he admitted was because of Isagi, saying, “I guess it’s because it’s you after all, Isagi!!!“
With the two major players face-to-face again, they run towards each other, which results in a collision. However, before the moment of impact, Rin was able to shoot the ball successfully, resulting in a goal that equalized the game.
The chapter ends with Gagamaru, the goalkeeper of Bastard Munchen, totally dumbfounded and saying, “Are you kicking a free-kick in mid-air, you monster?!!“
