Famous South African actress Connie Chiume had been married to her husband Jerry Mabuza for almost two decades.
The couple first married in 1985, but after 19 years, they separated in 2004. Sources speculate that, as Connie Chiume started getting busy with her professional career, it might not have been acceptable for her husband, which led to their divorce.
However, it is not yet clear, as her husband has not made any public statements regarding that matter. Jerry Mabuza mostly maintained a low-key life in the media.

However, her official Instagram post suggested Connie Chiume is the mother of three children: two sons, Nongelo Chiume and Tumi Chiume, and a daughter named Nothando Naledi Mabuza.
In the Instagram post uploaded on November 17, 2021, actress Connie Chiume shared her photo with her children and grandchildren, with the caption writing, “The most important people in my life!!! The Mzukulu’s (Grandson) and The Children!“
Further, she also wrote the names of her grandsons Bahumi, Molemo, and Lelo and gagged her three children @dynastyfuturebetty, @nongelochiume, and @tumi_chiume on their Instagram.
As per her children’s Instagram post, her daughter Nothando Naledi Mabuza is an Arts practitioner and Entrepreneur.
Similarly, her son Nongelo Chiume is a multi-award-winning booking agent, event manager, celebrity and brand publicist, and brand and talent advisor.
