Anil Arora tragically passed away, leaving behind his wife, Joyce Polycarp, and children, Malaika and Amrita Arora, after falling from the balcony of his residence in Bandra.
Previously, Anil Arora married Joyce Polycarp for several years before finalizing their divorce when Malaika was 11 years old. After the legal process, Polycarp moved to Chembur with her children and raised them singlehandedly.
Joyce Polycarp is a Malayali Christian who loves cooking. She worked hard to gain followers on her Instagram, where she often posts cooking videos and plans to release a cookbook.
Moreover, Polycarp’s struggle helped Malaika and her sister learn the values of work ethics, as the divorce pushed the mother to become independent. However, the nature of her profession wasn’t revealed.
Despite their split, Anil Arora maintained a close relationship with his wife as they finalized the process on mutual understanding. They were spotted together at various family celebrations, including Christmas, New Year’s, and birthday parties.
During his final moments, Arora was with Polycarp on their Bandra property, where they had started living together a few years before the incident. According to the police reports, Polycarp claimed that her husband had gone to the balcony to read the newspaper.
The act wasn’t unusual, as Arora spent his mornings sitting on the balcony. However, the unfortunate event unfolded when Polycarp noticed Arora’s slippers in the living room. She rushed to the commotion outside as the security guard shouted near her husband’s body, pleading for help.
