Though Reindeer Games star Danny Trejo has various tattoos all over his body, he thinks the Salma Hayek tattoo on his chest is his favorite, which he inked even before knowing the existence of the actress.
The 80 year-old actor Danny Trejo got this huge chest tattoo in prison while he was serving his time for robbing a bank and had nothing better to do.

At the time, Danny had no idea of Salma Hayek as they were yet to get acquainted in a 1995 movie, Desperado.
When Danny finally met Salma Hayek, he showed her the tattoo and said, “I knew you before I knew you. I dreamt you before I knew you.“
Harry, the tattoo artist of Danny Trejo, followed him to three different prisons to complete it!
Danny had always been notorious ever since he was a child and even served time in prison several times before becoming an actor.
While he thought he had a lot of time in prison, another prisoner, Harry, asked him if he could tattoo him, to which he agreed.
Danny states, “Harry ‘SuperJew’ Ross did it. I gotta say that. It was one of his first tattoos. And I was doing forever, so Harry said, ‘Let me do this tattoo, Danny.”
However, as Harry is just done with the outline, Danny gets caught in a fight inside prison, for which he is transferred to a different facility.

Harry, determined to finish the piece, somehow managed to transfer himself to the high-security prison Danny was serving time in.
Furthermore, yet again, due to a prison riot, Danny was forced to transfer to another facility, which Harry followed just to finish the tattoo.
Following Danny to three different prisons, Harry finally completed the ‘Mexican Cowboy’ tattoo. However, he ended up hating the tattoo for which he put so much effort.
However, the tattoo he created was worth it, as it has now become a part of Hollywood lore.
