After discovering that Penelope Featherington is Lady Whistledown, Colin Bridgerton initially struggles to forgive her. However, his love for her eventually leads him to forgive her.

At the end of the sixth episode, Colin finds Penelope at the print shop, where she arrives to deliver the final Whistledown edition to discredit Cressida. Penelope then reveals to him that she is, in fact, Lady Whisteldown.

Feeling betrayed by the things that she wrote in the past about him and his family, Colin says to her, “I will never forgive you,” before turning his back and leaving Penelope devastated.

Despite his anger over her secret, Colin marries Penelope. However, after explaining the reason for her dual identity, the two eventually reconcile and start a family together.

Colin is not the only Bridgerton she fixes her relationship with!

In the third season of Bridgerton, Part 1 focused on the rather intense tension between Penelope Featherington and Eloise Bridgerton.

Their once unbreakable bond faces challenges and uncertainties, leaving fans to wonder if their friendship will withstand the test of time.

A major turning point in their relationship was when Penelope revealed her true identity as Lady Whistledown to Eloise. Despite the passage of time, the wounds remain unhealed.

Still, although there is no apparent friendship between Eloise and Penelope, Eloise defends Penelope from Cressida’s actions when she steps on Penelope’s new gown on purpose.

Nevertheless, their friendship is very much the secondary love story of this season in Bridgerton.

Eloise was able to form a friendship with Cressida, but that came crashing down when Cressida declared herself Lady Whistledown.

Then the two team up to discredit her by printing another issue of their own. The two grow closer and later reunite in the final episodes of the season.

Thus, their friendship continues to be intact when Eloise forgives Penelope for betraying her after realizing the motives that made her do it.
