The American action-comedy franchise Beverly Hills Cop made a huge comeback after its third part was a flop 30 years ago. The latest release, Beverly Hills Cop 4, has met fans’ expectations, with new faces adding a fresh touch to the film.
Major additions include Taylour Paige as Axel Foley’s (Eddie Murphy) adult daughter, Jane, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Detective Bobby, and Kevin Bacon as Captain Grant.
Interestingly, the most eye-catching is Nasim Pedrad, the Iranian-American actress and comedian who plays a wacky real estate agent, Ashley De La Rosa, in her 40s.
Ashley is famous for her beautiful, arrogant, and ambitious demeanor, forming a criminal power couple with Captain Grant. She mentions that she is single and has a four year old son to Axel.
She adds a comedic moment to the main plot, which many fans believe was much needed to divert from the “generic deadbeat dad,” making part 4 somewhat live up to the original.
Meanwhile, many are saying that Ashley, aka Nasim’s appearance, which lasted for less than 5 minutes, was to give Bronson Pinchot a cameo as Serge, an art/weapons dealer.

The comedian Nasim Pedrad, better known for Saturday Night Live, did not mention anything about her role in the franchise’s fourth part.
Even her social media handles did not have posts about the film except for glimpses of the sitcom Chad, where she had credits as a creator, writer, director, and executive producer from 2021 to 2024.
When fans saw Nasim Pedrad’s appearance in Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, released on July 3, 2024, they could not stop praising her, saying she might be the film’s best part.
Ashley uplifted the film’s energy during her screen time by throwing jokes and making people breathless from laughing.
She also played a significant role in Jane and Bobby’s lives. They pretended to be married in front of the real estate agent, which led Jane and Bobby to kiss each other.
Although her role had less screen time than that of the main cast, Nasim Pedrad’s role was a huge hit, adding a new milestone in her nearly 20-year career.
