Over their decade-long friendship, Terrence Howard and Diana Ross have often been seen together, leading many to refer to them as family. In 2007, at the Kennedy Center Honor event, Terrence gave Diana a tribute.
In his tribute, he said, “We name the Sun in our solar system after one of our greatest luminaries, Diana.”
Later, in 2008, people noticed that the duo attended each other’s performance in Cat On a Hot Tin Roof with their family. The presence of their families at each other’s performance sparked more speculation about their close bond.
Again, in 2020, people linked the duo when Terrence announced his return from retirement and taking part in the TV drama show Delta Blues. Many believed that Evan Ross was the executive producer.

So, the question of whether he returned because of some personal tie was raised. However, in December 2022, he committed to his full retirement and never actually took part in the Delta Blues role.
