Netflix’s Supacell star Nadine Mills revealed that she knew she wanted to be an actor from a young age.

Talking to the Vérité Print, Nadine said, “To be honest, it’s something that was always in me when I was young.”

Interestingly, she used to perform for her parents, whose identity remains shrouded in mystery as of now. She further added, “I was probably that annoying child that would be like, Watch me! Look at me! I’ve got something else for you!”

Now in her late 20s, Nadine Mills has charmed everyone with the portrayal of Sabrina Clarke in Netflix’s Supacell.

Actress Nadine Mills studied media at the University of Westminster to learn what goes on behind the camera

To fuel her passion for acting, the up-and-coming British actress Nadine Mills says she studied drama in both school and college.

However, when she went to the University of Westminster in London, she chose a Contemporary Media Practice degree over drama to learn what really happens behind the camera.

That being said, Nadine Mills was also taking part-time drama classes on the weekend.

Although she knew not much was in store, especially for Black people to aspire to in acting, shows like Sister Sister and Moesha gave her confidence that she could do it.

Supacell star Nadine Mills recalls she fully committed to her acting career when she booked her first short film.

She said, “I think it’s when I booked my first short film, and I was like, ‘Ah, okay, this can genuinely be a career.’ That really sparked the hunger to actually go for [acting] as a career.”

Nadine debuted in 2011 with the short film Drink, Drugs and KFC. Later, in 2013, she appeared in a full-length movie, Sable Fable.

Albeit small roles, Nadine Mill also appeared in The Weekend, The Strangers, and The Pay Day. In 2019, she also made a guest appearance in the first season of Sliced.

She eventually landed the lead role as Sabrina Clarke in the latest Netflix superhero TV series, Supacell.

In a podcast episode with Your Cinema, Nadine said she was ready to give up, but then she got the biggest role in her filmography.
